Important Note About Other Neighborhoods
Please feel free to make reservations outside of Coyoacan in any of the other popular neighborhoods like Roma, Juarez, Polanco, Condesa, or Centro. BUT please consult with us and/or the traffic gods, because it may take up to 1.5 hours to travel between your location and our venues in Coyoacan and Tlalpan in the south.
We hope to face fewer traffic problems on the weekends; however, there can be parades and demonstrations that close down major avenues on the weekends which can severely impact travel times from those neighborhoods.
Transportation

Ride Sharing Apps (Uber & Didi)
We recommend downloading the Didi app, which is a ride-hailing app you can use in addition to Uber. These apps are typically more affordable than what you find in the US.
For example, we used Uber's book later feature to see prices on a Saturday from Krystal Grand Suites near Coyoacan to our wedding venue, Casa Xitla, in Tlalpan for a 4pm drop off. Prices range from MX160 - MX350 ($9.20 - $20.15 USD) depending on the type of vehicle.

Public Transit
For our public transit heads, the best option connecting our venues is Line 1 Metrobus (BRT) with the world's first electric bi-articulated buses. Feel free to make use of the continent's second-best public transit system (hard to unseat NYC).
Fare for buses is 7 Pesos ($0.40 USD), and the subway is 5 Pesos ($0.30 USD).
